Hillary Clinton must win this time!

I support Democracy because it beats all other alternatives that I've encountered thus far. But I have very little faith in it. Life has taught me that you can't depend on the intelligence of the public, because they are uninformed, uneducated, and easily misled. Misled by political corporations that serve the interests of the super-rich (Fox News), by the media groups that invent controversy and scandal at the expense of honest debate of important issues and in exchange for advertising revenue (CBS, NBC, ABC), and the lobbying groups & think tanks that are by their very nature designed to influence & manipulate the minds of masses. So although I am very confident that Hillary Clinton will win the next upcoming Presidential Election, until her inauguration, I am still going to worry about it. She hasn't even announced her candidacy, and yet the right-wing machine in combination with a scandal obsessed media, have kept Benghazi in the news, even though 98% of Americans wouldn't even be able to locate it on a map. We've also had this nonsense about her emails as Secretary of State being treated as though she broke the law or if she was hiding something just because she won't allow the media to read her PRIVATE emails. I wouldn't worry so much about all of the aforementioned crap, if it wasn't for the fact that Democratic voters have a history of eating their own. I was born during the Carter administration. So that's 6 presidents so far. And one thing I've learned about American voters is that they have an extremely short memory. No matter how bad a Republican administration is, no matter how much they mess things up, no matter how unhappy the populace is, after a Democrat President is elected and cleans things up, the public is ready to give Republicans another round after 4 to 8 years. If you don't believe me, ask yourself when the last time we had 2 Democrat Presidents elected back-to-back. The answer is JFK and then Lyndon B. Johnson. So we haven't had it happen since the 60's. Since before I was born. President Clinton gave the United States a great economy and relative peace for 8 years and then America went and elected George W. Bush, one of the worst Presidents in recent history. We are nearing the end of President Obama, who has saved the country from a second Great Depression, rebuilt the economy, and ended a war the last President started, and here the country is, actually considering handing the country over to a party that has gotten WORSE since the Bush Era. I really hope Democrats get their shit together and rally around Hillary, because too much is at stake. #1 We can't afford any more wars, and if a Republican is in office, we WILL declare war on someone. #2 Our economy is on the right track and the last thing we need is more tax cuts for the rich and high unemployment again. And finally and most importantly #3 The next President will probably nominate 4 Supreme Court Justices. Not 1, not 2, not 3 but 4. This election will pretty much determine how the rest of my life unfolds. Those seats are for life, and nothing can undo the damage a Republican President can do if he puts 4 Justices in that court. Nothing!
