Inauguration Day : Hard work ahead
Today, January 20, 2009, is the day! Today is the inauguration of our 44th President - Barack Obama. It is a great day for our nation, but as someone who pays close attention, I see that there is a lot of hard work ahead. Unfortunately, it's going to be harder than it needs to be.
With the Republican party in chaos, you'd think that Obama's job would be a lot easier, but there are still wolves in sheep's clothing prowling about. So-called liberals and fake-democrats who really don't like Obama, and will do everything to make sure he fails, regardless of what it does to the country.
You still see so-called feminists that supported Clinton with Palin propaganda on their websites. You can hear the bitter tone spat out from their forked tongues when they post new blog entries. You can see the eagerness in their eyes, waiting...waiting...waiting for Obama to make a mistake so they can vilify him.
Despite the characterization of "kool-aid drinkers" that these usurpers of democracy use to describe supporters of our newly-elected President, we are very well aware of the fact that Obama isn't perfect, and that he's very limited in what he will be able to do in the next four years. We simply want him to succeed because we understand the real condition of the world, and if he fails...we...all of us...fail.
